Short Summary:
As a member of the facilities operations team, you will help build, activate, and maintain advanced data centers, solving complex problems and managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, managers, and customers to maintain systems in peak operating condition.
- Develop/update detailed work instructions for equipment preventative maintenance.
- Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment, perform ductwork modifications, and assemble plumbing systems.
- Conduct hands-on shop work, inspections, troubleshooting, and testing of mechanical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
- Operate various equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Manage electronic work tickets and communicate effectively with team members.
Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
- 3+ years of professional experience with HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical safety, and mechanical fasteners.
- Technical certification in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, or electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and read technical specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple projects.
