Backend/Infra Engineer (Radar VR Education Simulator - Gov't Project)

Solafune Co., Ltd. is a startup aiming to build a "Planetary Intelligence OS." With satellite data analysis and AI analysis at its core, it is rapidly building a track record of transactions with government agencies in fields such as defense and security, infrastructure monitoring, and environmental monitoring. It is building a robust educational management platform (the foundation for educational management terminals and management processing terminals) that supports VR simulators from behind the scenes. This includes user management and authentication/authorization (OIDC) integration, storage and management of student operation records (retaining more than one week's worth) and learning records, detailed storage of system logs and audit logs, and server infrastructure design based on operation in a network-off (closed network) environment. It supports the backend of a configuration that controls and manages up to 30 student terminals from instructor equipment.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of user authentication and authorization infrastructure (OIDC) (user management, role-based access control)
• Design and API development of a database for saving and managing operation logs and learning records (storage of student operation records for more than one week)
• Backend development of management console (Web, etc.)
• Detailed storage of system logs and audit logs (closed environment)
• Design of backup mechanism
• Design and construction of server infrastructure assuming no network connection (supports local autonomous operation when network disconnected)

Requirements

• Experience in backend development (APIs, etc.) for web applications (3 years or more)
• Experience in designing and operating databases using RDBMS
• Basic knowledge of building and operating Linux servers
• Understanding of authentication and authorization (OIDC/OAuth2/SAML)
• Ability to design with a focus on stability while overseeing the entire architecture
• High awareness of security requirements (audit logs, information integrity)
• Design attitude that maintains robustness even in closed and restricted environments

Tools and product experience
Language: Python/Go/Node.js / Container: Docker / RDBMS: PostgreSQL/MySQL, etc. / IdP: Keycloak or Entra ID/Okta

Preferred Experiences

• Integration with OIDC providers (Okta/Keycloak/Entra ID) / System construction in on-premises and closed environments / Design considering audit logs and information security (RMF/supply chain)
