National Sales Account Manager

Hi, I’m Brayden, co-founder of Sola. We’re a venture-backed insurance startup based in Atlanta, and we’re hiring a National Account Manager to help grow our largest agency partnerships.

Most insurance companies have spent decades building complicated products and equally complicated ways to sell them. We’re doing things differently. We started with wind and hail coverage, using weather data to make claims faster, simpler, and more transparent. We’ve grown to 8-figure revenue and partnered with thousands of independent insurance agencies along the way.

Now we’re focused on going deeper with our largest partners. Some of the biggest opportunities at Sola aren’t new relationships. They’re the agencies already doing business with us that have hundreds of producers, multiple offices, and significant room to grow.

You’ll own a named portfolio of our most important national and regional accounts, with the opportunity to build relationships, expand our footprint, and influence how Sola grows across the country.

I look forward to meeting you,

Brayden

About the Role

• You’ll own and grow a defined portfolio of Sola’s largest national and regional agency partners. These are complex relationships that often span multiple offices, states, and decision-makers.

• Your job is to turn existing partnerships into meaningful, long-term revenue and hunt for new partnership opportunities with groups we are not yet partnered with. That means building relationships with agency leadership, identifying opportunities to expand into new offices and markets, and getting more producers actively selling Sola.

• You’ll work closely with our Sales and Insurance teams to develop account strategies, introduce new products, and help our partners grow alongside us.

• We’re looking for someone who understands how large agencies operate and knows how to turn a strong relationship into broader adoption across an organization.

What You’ll Do

• Own national accounts. Manage a named portfolio of large agency partners, with responsibility for revenue growth, retention, and overall account performance.

• Expand existing relationships. Identify opportunities to grow across additional offices, regions, and producer networks.

• Build strategic account plans. Develop growth strategies for each partner, set measurable goals, and execute against them.

• Drive adoption. Work with agency leadership and individual producers to make Sola a consistent part of their sales process.

• Navigate complex organizations. Build relationships with executives, regional leaders, territory managers, directors, and producers across multiple markets.

• Know your accounts. Understand agency operations, competitive offerings, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and solve problems.

• Work across teams. Partner with Sales, Insurance, and Product to introduce new programs, support agency needs, and grow existing business.

Must-haves

• 7+ years in sales, account management, insurance distribution, or a related field.

• Property and Casualty Insurance tenure

• Strategic account management. You’ve managed large, complex relationships and know how to grow revenue within existing accounts.

• Relationship builder. You’re comfortable working with senior executives and individual producers alike.

• Growth focused. You can identify opportunities, build a plan, and turn that plan into measurable results.

• Organized. You can manage multiple accounts, competing priorities, and long-term initiatives without losing track of the details.

• Strong communicator. You can influence decisions, navigate difficult conversations, and build trust with partners.

• In person. You’re excited to work with our team in West Midtown Atlanta.
