Senior DevOps Engineer

About this position

SoftTeco is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join international projects focused on building and improving cloud infrastructure and internal engineering tools. The role involves working with AWS, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and developing automation in Python to improve system reliability, scalability, and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services in AWS
• Develop and refactor internal tools and automation scripts using Python
• Analyze legacy tooling (Python/Perl) and build modern, maintainable replacements
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Support development teams by implementing DevOps best practices and deployment automation
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, ensuring high uptime
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement improvements
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and data teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions
• Improve monitoring, security practices, and overall cloud platform resilience

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, ALB, RDS or similar)
• Solid Python programming skills for automation and tooling
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar)
• Understanding of DevOps processes, release engineering, and deployment automation
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux/production environments
