Short Summary:
Snap Inc is looking for a Privacy Counsel to join their team, responsible for advising on privacy and AI law and compliance in EMEA. The role involves collaboration with various teams to support Snap’s privacy and AI practices.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure Snap is advised on privacy and AI laws, focusing on GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and EU AI Act.
- Partner with Snap’s global Policy team to interact with regulators.
- Anticipate and prepare for changes in data protection and AI law.
- Support compliance strategy with global privacy and AI legislation.
- Provide guidance on managing privacy and AI compliance programs.
- Conduct privacy and AI impact assessments.
- Advise on global cybersecurity laws and regulations.

Requirement:
- Qualified solicitor or equivalent with excellent academic credentials.
- 6+ years of experience in an international setting.
- Solid experience advising on global privacy and AI issues.
- Excellent legal and business judgment.
- Ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
- In-house experience is preferred.
