Litigation Paralegal – Complex Class Action (San Fran, CA or Boston, MA)
Salary: $90K to $120k
We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal with 2-5 years of experience to join one of the nation's top plaintiff securities litigation firms. You'll be an integral team member working on high-profile securities class actions, helping build the factual foundations of complex cases alongside talented attorneys in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
What will you be doing?
- Assisting attorneys in all phases of securities litigation, including cite checking, fact checking, and proofreading legal documents
- Conducting legal and factual research to help build the factual aspects of cases
- Managing document review and e-discovery using platforms like Relativity or Everlaw
- Assisting with marketing duties including completing RFPs (Requests for Proposals) from government entities
- Coordinating and tracking complex motion filings in federal and state courts
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required (not a paralegal-only degree — must have a true undergraduate degree)
- 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in securities, antitrust, or complex class actions (no family law or simple practice areas)
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills — if you can't write and proofread, this isn't the role
- Must be willing to work in-office 3 days/week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday); no fully remote candidates
- Stable work history with no excessive job hopping; genuine interest in plaintiff-side work
Work experience
- Litigation paralegal experience at a complex litigation firm (securities, antitrust, or class action preferred; must be complex lit, not family law or simple PI)
- Experience with e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Everlaw, or similar document review tools)
- Proficient with Bluebook cite-checking rules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Highly organized with ability to independently manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure
Nice-to-have
- Experience at a defense-side firm handling complex cases is a strong fit (large defense firm caliber)
- Experience with court filings, motion practice, and cite-checking in federal/state courts
