What an AI Engineer ownsLead AI initiatives with investment and deal teams. Turn data rooms, Investment Committee memos and portfolio reporting into structured datasets. Build and deploy agentic AI systems and AI models, some predicting financial metrics such as IRR. Measure accuracy, speed and cost for every AI system you ship. One situation you will walk intoContext: business teams at our partner firms build their own apps with AI tools like Claude or Cursor. Problem: those apps are rarely production-ready. Your role: turn them into secure, maintainable production tools. Measurable value, no proofs of conceptA project counts only when people use the AI system every day and it improves a number they care about: hours saved, better decisions, lower risk. The AI Engineer we are looking forSenior engineer, usually 5+ years, with at least one shipped AI system people use in daily work. Uses an AI coding agent every day. Thinks like an investor: judges AI work by the business result. Analytical, comfortable with financial data. Finance, private equity or consulting background is a big plus.
