We are looking for a hands-on Operations / DevOps Engineer to join a small, agile team responsible for running and maintaining SonarQube , a widely used static code analysis platform, in a large enterprise IT environment. This is primarily an operations-focused role, with an emphasis on platform reliability, troubleshooting, and automation rather than software development.

Key tasks:

• • Ensure high platform availability and compliance with SLA for a service used by thousands of internal users.
  • Deploy and integrate new tools and system components into the existing environment.
  • Troubleshoot incidents , identify root causes , and proactively prevent recurring issues , preferably through automation and scripting.
  • Implement platform update s during monthly change weekends while minimizing downtime.
  • Provide technical support to internal users and manage incoming support tickets.

Basic qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT operations and/or systems administration .
• Strong administration skills (RedHat 7–9, Ubuntu 22–24).
• Understanding of container networking, including configuring communication between containers and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Hands-on scripting skills : Python (primary) and Bash (highly recommended).
• Docker experience; Docker Swarm knowledge is a plus.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience working with related tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
• Fluency in English , both written and spoken.

Preferred additional skills, personal traits and experience

• Familiarity with Nginx, HAProxy, GitLab, and MySQL.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Grafana, particularly for log analysis and database health monitoring.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise IT infrastructure.
• A proactive, self-driven, and resourceful approach, with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
