Senior Embedded Software Engineer (C++)

Job description

We work with customers developing advanced automotive platforms and are regularly looking for experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineers for current and future projects.

Assignments typically involve the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software components used across vehicle systems and platform-level solutions. Depending on the project, the work may cover the entire software lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, integration, verification, and deployment.

You will be part of a cross-functional engineering team working on scalable and reliable platform solutions that support current and future vehicle technologies. The role offers the opportunity to work with complex embedded systems, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to the development of next-generation automotive software

Basic qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience

• Strong C++ skills

• Experience working in Linux environments

• Good knowledge of Git

• Experience designing and maintaining technical solutions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in complex technical environments

• Good communication skills in English

Preferred additional skills, personal traits and experience

Experience in any of the following areas is highly beneficial:

• Embedded software development

• Automotive software platforms

• ECU architecture and embedded systems

• Software flashing and software download technologies

• Hardware and system-level testing

• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

• Software verification and validation

• Vehicle communication protocols

• Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates

• Vehicle electrical and electronic architectures
