Cybersecurity Validator for Rolling Stock (f/m/d)

What will your role be about? We are looking for a new team member who isn't afraid to combine the world of IT with real machinery. This role is ideal for junior or mid-level professionals attracted to cyber security who want to see the results of their work in practice. You won't just be sitting at a desk – up to 60% of your time will be spent in the field or in the lab, directly with our trains. You can look forward to working within the Czech Republic, as well as regular trips to Germany or Austria, where you will test and define the security of our systems in an international environment according to IEC 62443 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on participation in penetration testing and validation of security measures through "ethical hacking"
• Collaborating on ensuring compliance with global security standards for modern trains
• Support in creating IT/OT security concepts and implementing requirements for specific vehicles and subsystems
• Performing threat and risk analyses and proposing countermeasures in cooperation with functional managers
• Preparing security architectures and engaging in technical discussions with customers and suppliers
• Specifying and maintaining security requirements according to international standards and regulations
• Close cooperation with a team of senior experts who will gradually introduce you to product security processes

Requirements:

• University degree in ICT, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
• Analytical thinking and a passion for testing complex software systems
• Basic knowledge of network technologies (DHCP, RADIUS, DNS, SSL/TLS) and Linux
• Interest in IT/OT security and a willingness to further educate yourself in this field
• Communicative level of English
• Professional competence in electrical engineering (NV 194/2022 Sb., formerly Decree 50)
• Driving license (category B)

• Knowledge of the German language
