Title: Senior HR IT Project Lead - SAP HCM / Integrations / Carve-out (Freelance only, Nearshore) Location: Remote (Bonn, Germany) For an international **HR IT separation and stand-alone program**, we are looking for an experienced **Senior HR IT Project Lead** to support the project on a full-time basis. The role combines **operational project leadership with strong technical HR IT understanding**. The consultant will work across several HR IT workstreams, identify dependencies and blockers, actively drive topics forward, and closely support internal workstream owners where HR IT knowledge is currently limited. This is **not a pure PMO or reporting role**. We are looking for someone who can understand complex HR system landscapes, challenge technical topics, structure unclear situations and actively push workstreams toward delivery. * **Start:** October 2026 * **Duration:** 6 months * **Workload:** Full-time * **Location:** Predominantly remote (very occasional workshops onsite) * **Language:** English * **Contract type:** Freelance / B2B ## Tasks * Take operational ownership across several HR IT workstreams within an international carve-out / separation program * Coordinate technical and functional activities across SAP HCM and related HR systems * Drive interface, integration and data-flow topics between HR applications * Identify blockers, risks and dependencies and actively push resolution * Closely support and coach internal workstream owners with limited HR IT experience * Manage dependencies between Recruiting, Core HR, Payroll, Workforce/Time and other HR systems * Track critical work packages and escalate delays where required * Work independently with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners ## Requirements * Senior experience in complex HR IT transformation or separation programs * Strong SAP HCM / SAP HR background * Very good understanding of HR system integrations, interfaces and data flows * Proven project or workstream leadership experience * Experience with international HR system landscapes * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills * Ability to quickly structure complex situations and drive topics independently * Excellent English skills Nice-to-haves: * Carve-out, divestiture, TSA exit or stand-alone setup experience * SuccessFactors and/or SmartRecruiters experience * Payroll and/or Workforce Management / Time & Attendance experience * SAP HCM exposure in APAC and/or the Americas
