Senior / Lead Fullstack Developer (.NET, Angular, Microservices) (m/f/x)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lead Full Stack Developer to join a long-term project for a European Union organization based in Warsaw, operating within the defence and security sector. This role combines hands-on software development, technical leadership, and architectural responsibilities across modern frontend and backend technologies, including Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, .NET, C#, Node.js, NestJS, and microservices/micro frontends architectures.

As a senior member of the development team, you will contribute throughout the complete software development lifecycle, support architectural decisions, mentor technical teams, and help deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality enterprise solutions in a highly international environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the solution.

• Expert in developing enterprise level software systems in specified technology domain.

• Knows UML and can design applications in UML.

• Proficient in designing and developing: data layer, business logic layer and UI layer.

• Worked in Scrum developments.

• Is capable for leading technical teams.

• Holds ability to document effectively technical solutions.

• Presents problem solving skills.

Specific Requirements:

• Demonstrates practical experience in software development as Senior Full-Stack Developer or Lead Developer.

• Demonstrates practical experience in design and development of micro fronted or microservices solutions.

• Possesses outstanding expertise in design patterns from both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.

• Demonstrates practical experience in frontend technologies development including Angular, RxJS, NgRx, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS.

• Demonstrates practical experience in backend or backend for fronted (BFF) technologies development based on Node.js and Nest.js framework, or alternative JavaScript frameworks.

• Demonstrates practical experience in backend technologies development including .NET, C#.

• Demonstrates practical experience in working with relational (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server) and non-relational databases.

• Posses knowledge of GraphQL.

• Demonstrates practical experience in development of automated and unit tests.

• Possesses knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps) and containers-based development environments (e.g. OpenShift).

Certificates:

At least 1 certification among:

• Advanced level certificate in software development technology domain

• or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority).

Formal Requirements:

• Education at minimum EQF Level 6 (Bachelor's degree or equivalent). ICT-related education is not required.

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in IT.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (Senior Full Stack Developer, Lead Developer, or equivalent).

• Citizenship of an EU Member State.

• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level, confirmed by a language certificate.

• Willingness to obtain a Confidential Security Clearance. The security screening procedure must be initiated within the first 45 days of assignment.

• Long-term B2B contract with SHIMI (minimum 42 months).
