Title: Supercomputing Partnerships Manager Location: San Francisco, CA We're building the company which will de-risk the largest infrastructure build-out in history. When people finance GPU clusters, the datacenters housing them, and the infrastructure powering them, they need "offtake" - meaning someone has signed a contract to lease the cluster for a period of time before its even built. Financing a GPU cluster is inherently risky, since margins are thin and volumes are huge. Lenders don't want to take on the risk that cluster developers can't repay their loan, and cluster developers really don't want to risk not selling their cluster. As a result, risk is offloaded to the customer using fixed-price long-term contracts. If you don't mitigate this customer risk, there's a bubble. This isn't SaaS anymore - application layer companies sign multi-year contracts for computer and inference, but sell to customers on monthly subscriptions. If you mess up a purchase, it's game over: a minor shift in your revenue growth rate might mean the difference between profit or bankruptcy. But what if companies could exit their contract by selling it back to the market? Otherwise, as AI scales, compute only becomes available to folks who can effectively take on that risk. A 2-person startup in a San Francisco Victorian can't realistically sign a 5-year take or pay contract on $100m supercomputers. But they may be able to buy the month of liquidity that someone else sold back. So that's what we make: a liquid market for GPU offtake. We’re hiring a Supercomputing Partnerships Generalist. This is a client-facing, high-ownership role for someone who can navigate ambiguity, build relationships, and take operationally complex deals from initial conversation through delivery. This is not a back-office procurement role. You will work directly with partners and internal teams to unlock capacity, move deals forward, and solve the practical issues that arise when deploying supercomputing infrastructure. What You Will Do Provider Intake & Supply Management - Source and onboard new GPU providers, securing additional compute capacity and diversifying our supply base - Run first-touch intake calls with prospective GPU providers, gathering hardware specs, pricing, and availability - Help vet incoming BOMs against SFC's cluster requirements, flagging gaps or non-standard components - Keep provider profiles and capacity trackers current as new information comes in Contract Triage & Follow-Up - Track contracts through redline, review, and signature stages, flagging where things are stuck - Maintain a clear log of open items, owners, and deadlines across the contract pipeline - Work across supply, go-to-market, engineering, legal, and operations to move opportunities from prospect to signed agreement. - Own the details needed to bring capacity online: timelines, dependencies, escalation paths, and partner communication. Pipeline Organization & Reporting - Own deal tracking, pipeline reporting, and CRM hygiene - Run tight weekly reporting on pipeline stages and blockers - Draft and maintain marketing collateral for providers: one-pagers, proposals, flyers, and decks Account Mapping & Sales Enablement - Map accounts and identify new prospective partners across datacenters, GPU operators, and financing groups interested in compute investment - Draft and maintain marketing collateral for providers: one-pagers, proposals, flyers, and decks Minimum Qualifications - 2–4 years in partnerships, deal desk, BD, or a similar coordination-heavy role, preferably in B2B infrastructure, cloud, or marketplace businesses - Pre-existing network across datacenter operators, neoclouds, or hyperscalers - Detail-oriented, comfortable owning a high volume of contracts, follow-ups, and trackers without things slipping - Exceptional communication and negotiation skills - High ownership and bias to action Preferred Qualifications - Exposure to AI/ML workloads or GPU hardware specs - Experience with contract redlining or deal desk workflows - Comfortable reading a BOM or technical spec sheet - Worked closely with technical or legal teams, even if not an expert in either WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT - It is not a traditional account-executive role. - It is not a narrowly scoped procurement or back-office operations role. - It is not a people-management role on day one.
