Senior Project Manager - Technology & Transformation

About the Opportunity

• Queenstown-based Senior Project Manager role with a purpose-led South Island organisation where sustainability and conservation are central, and technology exists to support a bigger mission
• This is a genuinely hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves delivery role. You’ll be embedded in the business, close to stakeholders and the operational reality, and expected to drive outcomes through to adoption
• A broad, multi-stream portfolio with equal weighting across ERP-style work, cyber uplift, AI enablement, and upgrades/reviews. You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities and keeping momentum across several initiatives at once
• Reporting to the GM Technology, you’ll join a high-performing, low ego team environment with real leadership support, pace, and a practical “get things done” culture
• Location is Queenstown with an expectation of being in office/on-site at least 3 days per week. This role is best suited to someone already in Queenstown or genuinely motivated to relocate for lifestyle and impact
• $135k base salary, so we’re upfront from the start and aligned on expectations

What You’ll Bring

• Strong, practical project management fundamentals across planning, governance, budget oversight, risk and issue management, delivery cadence, and vendor coordination
• Experience delivering ERP or similar enterprise systems (implementation, upgrade, remediation, integration, or optimisation), with the ability to translate business needs into deliverable outcomes in a non-tech environment
• Confidence running multiple concurrent workstreams across a varied tech change portfolio, knowing when to apply agile vs waterfall thinking to keep delivery grounded and moving
• A strong change and adoption mindset. You care about training, readiness, stakeholder buy-in, and making sure change sticks, not just getting to go-live
• A delivery style that is hands-on and visible, not a delegator. You’re happy in the detail when needed and you build trust by following through
• Team-first attitude and cultural fit. You’ll thrive in a work-hard environment with supportive leadership, low egos, and a genuine team vibe
