Senior .NET Engineer

We're looking for a Senior .NET Engineer (+Blazor) to join a niche American insurance company with 40+ years of experience in credit insurance, undergoing digital transformation! Our IT modernization initiative includes legacy system upgrades, automation of agent management processes, and other strategic enhancements. If you’re passionate about shaping technical roadmaps, driving innovation, and working with cutting-edge technologies in close collaboration with distributed teams from Eastern Europe and stakeholders from the USA, we’d love to hear from you!

In this role you will deal with:

• Designing and implementing both backend (C#/.NET) and frontend (Blazor) solutions
• Working closely with business analysts and client-side technical teams to clarify requirements and refine solutions
• Defining modernization plans, justify architectural decisions, and contribute to team process improvements
• Taking ownership of tasks from requirements analysis to release, identify dependencies, and escalate roadblocks independently
• Evaluating technical risks, proposing mitigation strategies and document architectural decisions.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Hands-on expertise in backend development (C#/.NET) and frontend frameworks (Blazor)
• Strong experience with SQL (e.g., T-SQL, stored procedures)
• Proficient in Git and Git Flow practices
• Ability to independently drive tasks from analysis to deployment
• Experience as both a solo developer and a team lead in enterprise projects
• Thorough approach to code quality, testing, and documentation.

Nice to have:

• Experience with insurance/financial systems (credit insurance preferred)
• Understanding of system design and ability to create architectural documentation
• Experience migrating from monolithic to microservices architectures
• Familiarity with automated testing (unit, integration, E2E).
