Project Responsibilities
Support a large-scale issuer processor migration programme within the payments industry.
Design and implement integrations between complex platforms.
Develop and maintain high-volume backend services using Go/Golang.
Work with transaction processing systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Contribute to distributed systems and microservices-based solutions.
Support integration activities across client and vendor platforms.
Perform technical analysis related to migration and integration initiatives.
Participate in testing activities throughout the programme lifecycle.
Investigate and resolve technical issues arising during migration and integration phases.
Work in cloud-native environments following modern engineering practices.
Ensure reliability and continuity of business-critical, high-availability systems.
Collaborate closely with client and vendor teams throughout the migration programme lifecycle.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Go/Golang and proven experience building and integrating complex backend systems. The ideal candidate has a solid background in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven platforms such as Kafka.
The engineer should have hands-on experience with API design, system integrations, and large-scale migration initiatives. Strong knowledge of cloud-native environments and modern engineering practices is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable working with transaction processing systems and high-volume backend services, particularly within business-critical and high-availability environments.
Experience in card payments, issuer processing, banking, fintech, transaction switching, or other payment infrastructure domains would be highly relevant.
The successful candidate will be able to collaborate effectively with client and vendor teams, supporting technical analysis, integrations, testing, issue resolution, and migration activities throughout the programme lifecycle.
