Short Summary:
A Senior QC Engineer is a hands-on quality control professional responsible for performing manual, automation, API, and performance testing to ensure high-quality software delivery. The role involves designing and executing test strategies, developing and maintaining automation scripts, utilizing AI-assisted testing tools, and supporting successful product releases.
Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts covering functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, API, and performance testing.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks.
- Design, execute, and analyze performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to accelerate test case generation and automation scripting.
- Prepare, maintain, and deliver testing artifacts, including test plans and defect reports.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and validating business requirements.
- Investigate, identify, and document root causes of software defects.
- Review business and functional requirements to ensure completeness and testability.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level QC engineers.
- Contribute to improving testing methodologies and quality standards.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in software quality control/testing.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- Professional certification such as ISTQB-CTFL or ISTQB-CTAL.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
