Business Development Representative - France

📍Eindhoven HQ (3 days in office) | 🗓️ 40hrs per week

🚀 This is what you tell people at parties

We didn't become Europe's leading e-commerce shipping platform by playing it safe. Sendcloud powers 30,000+ online retailers, marketplaces, and fulfillment companies. Helping them ship smarter, grow faster, and actually get shit done for their customers. Boring logistics? Not here. We're building the platform that solves shipping, at scale, globally!

The French SMB e-commerce market is one of the most active in Europe, and Sendcloud is building the team to own it. As our Business Development Representative for France, you'll be the first point of contact for hundreds of online retailers who don't yet know they need us — and you'll change that. This role sits at the intersection of sales craft and market opportunity, and it's where real careers at Sendcloud are made.

🧐 The Role

• As the BDR for France, you own the top of the funnel for our SMB market — every qualified conversation you start is the foundation of a deal.

• Your outbound activity directly fuels the pipeline that Account Executives close, making you a critical engine in the SMB Commercial team.

• You develop deep expertise in Sendcloud's shipping platform and translate that into compelling, consultative conversations with e-commerce founders and operators.

• Working closely with AEs and the wider Commercial organisation, you help shape how Sendcloud enters new SMB segments.

🎯 What you'll do

• Drive outbound prospecting across the French SMB e-commerce landscape through calls, email, and LinkedIn — generating qualified pipeline from scratch.

• Qualify prospects by uncovering their shipping volumes, business goals, and pain points, and determine fit with Sendcloud's platform.

• Own the handoff from first contact to Account Executive, ensuring each transition is warm, informed, and set up to close.

• Build and maintain your prospect pipeline with precision, keeping CRM data clean and your activity metrics on track.

• Act as the face of Sendcloud for [Insert Market] SMB prospects — representing the brand with energy, credibility, and a deep understanding of the product.

• Collaborate with Account Executives to refine target segments, outreach messaging, and qualification criteria.

• Use data and feedback from every interaction to continuously sharpen your outreach and improve conversion rates.

✅ What you bring to the table

Personally

• You're resilient and self-motivated — a 'no' is data, not a dead end, and you use it to sharpen your next approach.

• You're coachable and actively seek feedback, because you're here to grow fast, not to coast through the role.

• You're naturally curious about how businesses work and energised by the challenge of turning cold outreach into real conversations.

Professionally

• Experience in outbound B2B sales or cold-calling, ideally in a SaaS or e-commerce environment — nice-to-have, not a hard requirement.

• HBO or university-level education in a commercial, business, or related field.

• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken

• Comfortable working in a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to manage your pipeline and log activity accurately.

❤️ Our Values

• 💩 No bullshit: Big egos suck. Be open, honest and transparent. Share your mistakes openly and learn from them. Don’t just talk about problems, solve them.

• 🎯 Grow & win: Be highly curious, adaptable & proactive. Embrace discomfort and change. Keep an open mindset and learn from others. You invest in our growth, so we invest in yours.

• 🎠 Have fun: Work hard, laugh harder. Not everything has to be serious. Be yourself, especially if you’re the good kind of crazy. Sendcloud is an adventure, not a corporate maze, enjoy the ride.
