We are looking for a talented, personable go-getter Sales Engineer with a solid technical background in cybersecurity and experience in a client-facing role to join the growing sales team of Seemplicity. As a Sales Engineer, you will be a subject matter expert on the Seemplicity product offering.
Responsibilities
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospects and current clients.
- Be the POC for client proposals
- Develop designs and collateral for effective solutions.
- Become a subject matter expert on the Seemplicity product offering.
- Engage with clients to assess their needs and determine the scope of engagement based on their environment and threat landscape, including security detection, monitoring, and response.
- Collaborate with Seemplicity’s Product, R&D, and Customer Success teams and share the clients’ feedback, insights, and requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing to continuously support in improving and fine-tuning our messaging and written materials.
- Help identify new business opportunities and establish, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer with cybersecurity experience in one of the domains of network security, cloud security, or application security.
- In-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity industry (i.e., vendors, solutions, challenges, etc.).
- Good understanding of organizational processes in the cybersecurity world.
- Proven ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent teaming and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and a demonstrated ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders to build trust.
- Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation abilities.
- Willing to travel as needed.
- One of the industry-leading qualifications is preferable (CISA, CIMA, CEH, OSCP, CEH, CISSP) – advantage
The estimated total On-Target Earning (OTE) range for this remote role is $230,000 – $270,000, plus equity and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be based on candidate experience, key skills, and geographic location.
