Short Summary:
Join the team shaping the future of AI at Scale as a Payroll Manager, responsible for coordinating and managing technical payroll accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure accurate, timely payroll operations including gross pay calculations, deductions, retroactive adjustments, and retirement contributions.
- Maintain, audit, and update HR/payroll systems; identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage month-end payroll accounting, including journal entries and financial statements in NetSuite.
- Provide technical training and support to staff; respond to inquiries.
- Monitor and analyze legislative changes affecting payroll and assist with policy implementation.
- Train, mentor, and provide work direction to payroll staff.
- Perform complex payroll calculations and oversee the accurate input and reconciliation of timesheets.
- Ensure accurate and compliant payroll practices through regular auditing.
Requirement:
- Strong knowledge of payroll administration and month-end accounting processes.
- In-depth understanding of domestic and international laws related to payroll and employee benefits.
- Skilled in preparing, maintaining, verifying, auditing, and processing payroll records.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have 3-5 years of processing experience with ADP Workforce and International payroll.
- Must have 3-5 years of Accounting Month End experience and utilize NetSuite.
- Associate’s degree with coursework in accounting, business, or related field.
