Title: Growth Marketing Specialist Location: Milan, Italy

THE MISSION

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist to join our Growth Marketing team and work with the Head of Growth on a large and growing paid acquisition budget on Google Ads and Meta Ads. It covers B2B merchant acquisition across Italy, Spain, France, and Portugal, and B2C acquisition, with a growing focus on our subscription product.

An external agency runs campaign execution on our instructions. Your job is what an agency can't do from the outside: set the objectives, read the acquisition flows, decide what to change, and connect paid results to business results. You will be the internal reference for paid acquisition across Product, Data, and the marketing team, in a company where priorities change fast.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Head of Growth on budget, objectives, and allocation across funnels and markets, direct the agency, and run the optimization loop.
• Design and run a structured creative testing program, from hypothesis to concept (briefed or prototyped with AI) to result.
• Build, test, and optimize landing pages, with A/B tests across the funnels.
• Own acquisition tracking and HubSpot acquisition flows, working with Product and Data to fix issues and track new events.
• Advise the internal marketing team on paid support for their projects and turn their requests into briefs for the agency.
• Connect campaigns to business results beyond the ad platforms: merchants live and transacting, subscribers who stay, contribution margin.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Background

• 2-4 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation.
• Experience on B2B acquisition funnels, following leads through to closed deals; B2C acquisition experience is a strong plus.
• Proven hands-on experience building, launching, and optimizing campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Ads, ideally on a total annual budget of at least EUR 500K.
• Experience directing an external media agency.
• Working experience with a CRM (HubSpot strongly preferred).

Technical Skills

• Google Ads & Meta Ads: conversion events, pixel/CAPI, optimization signals, attribution, and tracking with Google Tag Manager or similar.
• Creative testing and A/B testing: test design, statistical significance, reading results beyond CTR.
• Analytics: confidence with at least one platform (Amplitude, Google Analytics, HubSpot Analytics), AI-assisted data analysis, and funnel economics (conversion rates, acquisition cost, payback).
• AI/LLM Tools: hands-on use of advanced LLM tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to build landing pages, scripts, automations, and analyses. You should be able to show us something you built in the last few months.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or e-commerce.
• Experience acquiring users for a subscription product.
• A basic understanding of how a data warehouse is structured.
