About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources; communicate between teams and stakeholders; manage risks and prioritization; ensure adherence to processes (Agile, CI/CD); and balance business goals with technical implementation. The focus is on achieving results on time, taking into account the specifics of infrastructure and automation.

Job description

• Managing resources and planning the work of one or several DevOps teams: coordinating tasks, timelines, and prioritization (sprints, releases, incidents), allocating resources with attention to infrastructure specifics and CI/CD processes, and balancing business requirements with technical implementation.
• Motivating and developing the team: proactively supporting team members, challenging them to find optimal solutions, and fostering ownership of results and a culture of continuous improvement (DevOps practices, automation).
• Facilitating communication: organizing and running meetings (daily standups, planning, retrospectives), syncing with development, QA, and stakeholders, and resolving conflicts and blockers.
• Optimizing processes: monitoring performance metrics (release frequency, recovery time, SLA), analyzing bottlenecks, and tuning processes (Agile, CI/CD, monitoring) to improve efficiency.
• Transparent reporting: preparing reports on project status, risks, resource utilization, and KPIs, and communicating progress and results to business and technical teams.

Qualifications

You have:

Experience managing technical projects:

• 2+ years as a Middle Project Manager (or above) in IT, preferably with a focus on infrastructure projects, DevOps, or system administration.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and other agile methodologies (Kanban, SAFe).

Expertise in managing technical teams:

• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams (sysadmins, DevOps, SRE), including work planning, task distribution, and execution control.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS), and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible).

Deep knowledge of processes and methodologies:

• Confident use of project management tools (Jira, Confluence) and performance metrics (SLA, SLO, MTTR).
• Understanding of development, testing, and operations processes.

Leadership and analytical skills:

• Strong soft skills: facilitation, conflict management, team motivation.
• Ability to quickly get into technical details, critically assess risks, and make data-driven decisions.
• Adaptability and proactivity amid changing requirements.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher — comfortable reading/writing technical documentation and participating in negotiations with English-speaking clients and teams.

Will be a plus:

Experience working in distributed teams (remote/multinational).
