About the role

We are hiring a Head of Infrastructure.

You manage the Infrastructure department: strategy, team, and commitments to internal customers and top management. You are accountable for SLA/SLO of infrastructure services, IS/regulatory requirements in the infrastructure domain, and department processes (change management, incident management, customer request fulfillment).

Job description

• Set department strategy for 1–3 years, quarterly goals, and the roadmap.
• Build the organization: team composition, hiring, development of direct reports.
• Own processes: change management, incident management, customer request fulfillment.
• Approve target SLA/SLO; investigate major incidents.
• Align commitments with internal customers, adjacent teams, and Information Security.
• Agree terms with suppliers and vendors.
• Report status and risks to top management.

Qualifications

You have:

• 7+ years in infrastructure / platform / SRE / DevOps, including 3+ years leading multi-team or multi-domain infrastructure organizations (or equivalent scope).
• Ownership of reliability outcomes (SLA/SLO, major incident process, change discipline).
• Ability to set priorities across competing internal customers and escalate trade-offs to CTO-level stakeholders.
• Working fluency with modern infrastructure stacks enough to challenge technical proposals (Kubernetes, IaC, observability, identity, networking). Deep hands-on every day is not the primary expectation.

Highly preferred:

• Built or scaled an infrastructure org with a role split: Teamlead, Techlead / Principal, ownership of internal services.
• Aligning the infrastructure roadmap with Security and product/stream leads.
• Track record improving MTTR, audit findings, and request fulfillment time.
• Exposure to regulated or security-sensitive environments.

Nice to have:

• Background in both on-prem/bare-metal and cloud platforms.
• DR/BCP at department level (RTO/RPO).
• Familiarity with collaboration and developer platforms as internal products (GitLab, Slack, identity).

Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience.
