About the role

You’ll help keep our platform stable and fast by investigating production issues during business hours, shipping focused fixes/automations, and improving monitoring and runbooks. You’ll work across Go, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, and Temporal with mentoring from senior engineers.

Job description

• Triage and reproduce production issues using logs, metrics, and traces; identify root causes.
• Implement small, well-scoped fixes and automations in Go; add/adjust tests.
• Improve observability and operations: alerts, dashboards, and post-mortems.
• Keep documentation up to date (“how-to”s, incident notes).
• Participate in code reviews and follow our engineering standards.
• Work a standard 40-hour week (8h/day).

Qualifications

You have:

• Basic Go skills (functions, modules, error handling; concurrency fundamentals a plus).
• Solid SQL fundamentals; comfort reading/writing queries (Postgres).
• Understanding of distributed systems basics (queues/streams, caching).
• Comfortable with Git and writing clear technical notes in English.
• Curious, systematic debugger; asks good questions and follows through.

Will be a plus:

• Exposure to Kafka, Redis, and/or Temporal.
• Experience with testing in Go (unit/integration) and basic CI pipelines.
• Familiarity with observability (metrics, logs, traces).
• Containers/Kubernetes basics.
