Head of Marketing

As the Head of Marketing, you will be the single owner of marketing at a fast-growing creator marketing platform, helping take the company from about $12M to $100M in annual run rate across a PLG self-serve motion and an enterprise sales motion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will bring the brand positioning to life across social, paid media, the website, product marketing, and enterprise campaigns. You will lead a small team of about three people, which will grow over the next year, and manage the agencies that support it.

This is a player-coach role for an experienced marketing leader who has played a key part in a scale-up and is still happy to write the copy, build the offer, and ship the campaign when needed. You will bring together marketing work that is currently spread across growth, sales, and other teams, keep every channel consistent with the brand positioning, and report clearly on the results of each initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Own marketing strategy across PLG and enterprise sales, partnering with the VP of Growth and VP of Sales to drive pipeline
• Lead and develop a small team across paid media, product marketing, and social media: set goals, build systems, and manage day-to-day execution
• Keep every channel true to the brand positioning developed with an external agency, from social and paid media to product marketing and the website
• Manage external agencies for positioning, PR, and content: set strategy, review their work, and approve AEO, GEO, and blog content
• Build enterprise marketing from 0 to 1, including events, content, annual reports, and gated content campaigns that generate qualified pipeline for sales
• Create high-converting offers and landing pages with AI tools and run them through LinkedIn and paid media
• Plan and lead campaigns, webinars, and content-led lead generation, and own the marketing calendar and LinkedIn go-to-market
• Build and systematize an email marketing motion using AI tooling and automation
• Execute important work directly, with hands-on copywriting, branding, storytelling, and messaging
• Track every initiative, report on performance, and communicate what is working and the impact it is delivering

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of marketing or growth experience at a SaaS, marketplace, or consumer tech company
• A key role on the marketing or growth team of a fast-growing startup or scale-up, ideally one between $10M and $100M in revenue, with results you can clearly point to
• Experience leading or mentoring others (direct reports, freelancers, or agencies) and readiness to manage a small team
• Hands-on skill in copywriting, offers, positioning, and storytelling, with examples of campaigns you built and launched yourself
• A deep, current understanding of the creator economy, social platforms, and how attention works on modern channels
• Experience with PLG or self-serve acquisition, and interest in learning enterprise marketing
• A strong interest in AI tools and workflow optimization, with real examples of how you use them
• Resourceful and data-driven: you can show the results of each initiative you ran

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with two-sided marketplaces
• Founding marketer or first marketing hire experience at a venture-backed startup, ideally with an exit
• Experience managing agencies for positioning, PR, SEO, AEO, or GEO
