What you’ll build:

At SAP, we help the world run better. As a Sovereign Cloud Architect & Advisor, you will be at the forefront of enabling customers to modernize their IT landscapes through trusted cloud solutions that meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements. You will serve as a strategic partner, trusted advisor, and cloud visionary, helping customers navigate complex hybrid environments and design cloud strategies that accelerate innovation while preserving compliance. Working with customers, partners, and internal experts, you will:

• Define sovereign cloud strategies that balance innovation, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Build transformation roadmaps that guide customers from their current landscape to a future-ready cloud operating model.
• Architect trusted hybrid and multi-cloud solutions across platforms such as SAP Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Enable resilient and compliant environments that support business continuity, data sovereignty, and regulatory requirements.
• Create lasting customer relationships as a strategic advisor throughout their cloud transformation journey.

What you bring:

• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executives, architects, and technical stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of SAP solutions, industry offerings, product roadmaps, and solution dependencies.
• Solid expertise in cloud infrastructure and platform technologies, including virtualization, compute, networking, storage, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Hyperscaler such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SCI); relevant certifications are highly valued.
• Extensive SAP technology background, including SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, OS/DB migrations, SAP BTP, HANA Cloud, AI and enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Understanding SAP BTP, integration architectures, cybersecurity, compliance, data privacy, and sovereign cloud principles; experience in regulated industries or the public sector is a plus.
• 10+ years of customer-facing SAP consulting experience and 8+ years in enterprise architecture, solution design, or SAP implementation, with exposure to pre-sales, service delivery, ITSM, and SAP operations.

The Sovereign Services & Delivery (SS&D) business unit, part of SAP's Customer Value Group, specialises in delivering end-to-end sovereign cloud solutions for sectors like public and highly regulated industries etc.
