Short Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to join our Germany-based team, responsible for customer relationships and architecture from initial engagement to validated solution.
Responsibilities:
- Own complex technical engagements end-to-end — from requirements intake to validated architecture.
- Develop architecture proposals for demanding infrastructure requirements — network integration, sovereign cloud, security isolation, compute.
- Identify platform gaps that block customer success and translate them into specifications for Product Management and Engineering.
- Lead your SA+SE pair, guiding your SE Buddy into the right engagements and ensuring knowledge retention within the team.
- Contribute blueprints and whitepapers for reusable assets.
Requirement:
- 7+ years of relevant experience as a Solutions Architect, Senior Cloud Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
- Broad technical understanding across multiple domains — network, compute, storage, security.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP); OpenStack experience is a strong plus.
- Proven experience leading customer-facing technical engagements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluent in German and/or English; German is a strong advantage for public sector and defense customers.
