What you'll build
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager (m/f/d) to lead engineering teams developing strategic industry solutions for the Energy & Natural Resources sector (incl. utilities, oil & gas, mill & mining, chemicals). 

You will be accountable for building strong engineering culture and teams, establishing the technical direction and development practices required for enterprise-grade solutions, and delivering scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions from concept through productive customer use.

• Lead and scale high-performing engineering teams delivering industry solutions.
• Build an AI-native engineering organization where AI & agents accelerate the complete software development lifecycle without compromising on quality and security
• Set the technical direction for scalable, secure, enterprise-grade cloud and AI solutions.
• Raise the engineering bar: attract exceptional talent, simplify architectures, increase development velocity, and create strong end-to-end ownership.
• Partner closely with Product Management, Industry Experts, regional FDE pods and customers while owning the technical execution and engineering outcomes.

Required Experience

A proven engineering leader who combines: Exceptional technical depth + strong people leadership + AI-native thinking + bias for execution.

You should be someone who does not ask, “How can AI make our current development process 20% faster?” but instead asks: “If we designed this engineering organization for the AI era from scratch, how would it operate?”

The expectation is to create a team capable of delivering 10x impact, not 10% optimization.
