What You Will Do 

• Lead customer innovation engagements: Run discovery workshops and FDE-style boot camps with business and IT stakeholders to surface, qualify, and prioritize Industry AI opportunities capable of fundamentally transforming how customers operate and grow. 

• Define high-value Industry AI use cases: Translate business challenges into implementable AI solutions — applying AI tools in the definition process itself to sharpen requirements, agent architecture, KPIs, and quantified value metrics. 

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle: Drive use cases from discovery to deployment — defining requirements, building prototypes and acceptance criteria, partnering with engineering throughout, and validating business outcomes. 

• Deliver value rapidly: Apply a fast, iterative model that puts measurable customer value in production within weeks, not quarters. 

• Build the Industry AI portfolio: Turn customer learnings into industry-specific AI assets and accelerators — with documented financial and operational value, reusable across SAP globally. 

• Champion thought leadership and C-suite co-innovation: Represent SAP's Industry AI vision in executive forums and industry conferences, and lead strategic co-innovation at the C-suite level to shape customers' multi-year transformation agendas. 

• Mentor and elevate colleagues: Actively mentor the team — building capability in use case design, value engineering, and customer engagement across the practice. 

What You Bring 

• Deep industry expertise: 8+ years in Manufacturing, Energy & Natural Resources, Consumer Products, or Professional Industries — with a track record of leading enterprise-level business transformations, not just advising on them. 

• Thought leadership credentials: A recognized voice in your industry domain — through published points of view, conference speaking, or advisory roles that demonstrate influence beyond your organization. 

• AI use case expertise: Hands-on experience defining and scaling Agentic AI solutions with a clear focus on data readiness, process fit, and measurable outcomes. 

• Product Management or consulting excellence: Proven track record in product definition and delivery, or in leading business transformation initiatives at the enterprise level — translating complex challenges into programs that deliver. 

• C-suite engagement and emotional intelligence: Proven ability to build and sustain strategic relationships at the CXO level — navigating complex organizational dynamics with emotional intelligence and driving multi-year co-innovation agendas. 

• Strategic thinking and complex problem solving: Ability to cut through ambiguity, identify the highest-impact AI opportunities, and chart a clear path from complex business challenge to executable solution. 

• Financial acumen and business value mastery: Ability to construct and defend investment-grade business cases for Industry AI — connecting use case outcomes to P&L impact, financial modelling, and enterprise strategy. 

• Team mentorship and capability building: Demonstrated track record of mentoring senior colleagues — coaching on driving customer engagements, use case specification, and value outcomes to raise the bar across the team 

• SAP platform depth: Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business AI Platform, SAP Joule, Signavio, LeanIX, and clean-core, cloud-first architecture principles. 

• Communication and influence: Exceptional written and verbal English — able to write compelling thought leadership content, present to senior management, and represent SAP externally. 

Where You Belong 

You will join SAP's Customer Industry Solutions (CIS) team as one of its most senior domain voices. This role goes beyond leading engagements — it is about shaping how Industry AI is practised across the team, developing colleagues, and influencing SAP's product and go-to-market direction. The standards you set and the frameworks you establish will have impact well beyond your direct work. Mentoring the next generation of Industry AI experts and driving lasting improvements to how the practice operates is as central to success here as any individual customer outcome.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted annual combined range for this position is 254800-613200USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
