Short Summary:
As AI Data Lead for the SAP-RPT model family, you will own and grow the data assets underpinning our foundation model development, working closely with scientists and engineers to translate evolving data needs into a clear roadmap.

Responsibilities:
- Own pre-training, evaluation, and metadata assets, shaping their strategy and expanding them with new data sources.
- Maintain the short- and long-term roadmap, manage the extraction backlog, and coordinate dependencies.
- Collaborate with scientists to explore how additional data could improve model capabilities.
- Represent the team’s data needs and influence provider priorities.
- Enable compliant data use in collaboration with governance functions.
- Conduct targeted hands-on exploration and validation of data.

Requirement:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a relevant field, with 5+ years of professional experience in data & AI environments.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical projects with data and ML deliverables.
- Strong understanding of relational data, schemas, and data quality challenges in enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of data management technologies, including databases, SQL, and Python.
- Solid ML understanding and experience interpreting experiments.
