Short Summary:
Samsara is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join their Diagnostics team, focusing on developing and maintaining firmware solutions for IoT devices that enhance fleet safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, debug, and test customer-facing firmware features in C/C++ and Golang.
- Build IoT products for long-term support of over 1.5 million devices.
- Design and develop internal observability to ensure firmware health.
- Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.

Requirement:
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with large-scale observability for production systems.
- Proficient in developing and shipping production code.
- Experience with building and monitoring metrics during firmware rollout.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
