The Role
The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for assigned customers, with the goal of ensuring effective relationship management and a high level of service.
The role combines
customer management and commercial activities
. It is not primarily focused on cold acquisition of new customers, but rather on the ability to
know the customer, understand their needs, and turn those needs into sales and customer retention opportunities
.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with assigned customers, becoming their main point of contact;
- Handle requests, orders, quotations and follow-ups, ensuring responsiveness and a high level of service;
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships;
- Understand customer needs and recommend products and solutions that are aligned with those needs;
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer portfolio;
- Monitor customer purchasing patterns and habits to identify business development opportunities;
- Follow up on quotations and commercial opportunities, supporting the customer throughout the sales process until completion;
- Contribute to customer retention and revenue growth within the assigned portfolio;
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address potential issues before they become critical;
- Work closely on a daily basis with Sales, Logistics, Customer Service and other internal teams to ensure an effective customer experience;
- Accurately update and maintain customer information and commercial activity records.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in Sales, Customer Service, Sales Support or Sales Back Office roles;
- Strong customer orientation and a genuine ability to build relationships;
- Commercial mindset and the ability to identify sales opportunities;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proactive, well-organised and results-oriented approach;
- Previous experience in the Food & Beverage industry;
- Good knowledge of standard IT tools and major CRM systems;
- Excellent command of English; additional languages will be considered a plus.
