About Rubrik

The Rubrik SE Philosophy

At many companies, a SE is a demo-bot. At Rubrik, SEs are strategic influencers. We don't just answer technical questions, we shape the required capabilities a deal comes down to. We don't just show features, we build champions. We don't just solve tasks, we connect Rubrik's value to the problems that keep a CIO up at night.

About Rubrik’s Internship Program

Rubrik offers interns an opportunity to make an impact from day one. Our interns work on challenging projects, where their contributions help solve real-world problems related to personal privacy, business continuity, and digital safety. Interns learn from the best in the industry, building connections with senior team members who support their development through 1:1 mentorship. Alongside the meaningful work, interns are fully immersed in Rubrik's inclusive community through social events, networking opportunities, professional development workshops, and volunteering events.

During the internship, you’ll have access to:

• Meaningful projects: The opportunity to translate your education into hands-on professional experience through rigorous, yet rewarding work
• Growth and development: Take advantage of extensive growth opportunities through mentoring, job shadowing, workshops, lunch n’ learns, and hands-on project work that supports both your personal and professional development.
• A dedicated manager & mentor: A team that will provide you with guidance and support regularly
• Intern events: The opportunity to participate in networking events, volunteering opportunities, and social events
• Other perks: Access to free mental health services, lunch stipend, optional 401K benefits, company-wide intern presentations, intern swag, and more!

What we do matters. Join us and unleash your potential!

Program Structure

Over 12 weeks, you'll move through three phases:

• Phase 1 – Foundations (Weeks 1–4): Tech Sales 101, presentation skills, 365 skills, and shadowing SEs on live calls.
• Phase 2 – Your AI Project (Weeks 5–7): Plan, build, and internally present the AI project you'll carry into your capstone.
• Phase 3 – Show What You Know (Weeks 8–12): Shadowing Professional Services and Support, live role plays, and your Capstone Showcase in front of SE leadership.
• Every week follows the same rhythm: A Monday team meeting, a weekly 1:1 with your mentor and SE director, and open-ended shadowing whenever a call or POC is happening.
• Your Capstone Showcase in Week 12 has two parts; a polished, customer-ready demo or presentation delivered to SE leadership, and a presentation of your AI project covering the problem, your solution, and its impact.
