Role Overview
The IT Infrastructure and Workplace Platforms department supports the Wealth Management business and its subsidiaries by delivering and managing information technology solutions that enable business growth, operational efficiency and innovation.
As a Platform Delivery & Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our IT platforms are not only successfully delivered, but also continuously enhanced and aligned with business objectives. You will coordinate cross-functional technical and business stakeholders while driving the successful delivery of key strategic projects across the bank.
You will be working closely with internal departments and Senior Management in Switzerland and subsidiaries in Europe and Middle East. Occasionally, you will need to travel to national and international Wealth Management locations.
The role is newly created to address the needs of our growing business.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex infrastructure, workplace, cloud and technology transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery of measurable business outcomes, operational improvements and regulatory compliance.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies including regular reporting to senior management and steering committees.
- Help drive public cloud adoption, migration and modernization initiatives, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
- Drive alignment, prioritisation and decision-making across business stakeholders, project delivery teams, platform engineering teams, architecture, security, and external partners.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders in Switzerland and international subsidiaries, external vendors and consulting partners.
- Oversee risk mitigation, issue resolution, and escalation management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security requirements, and internal banking policies.
- Drive change management including communication, user adoption, training, and operational readiness.
- Ensure the successful handover of delivered solutions into operational support, including service readiness, documentation, ownership, and support processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- IPMA Level C, ITIL Managing Professional or similar certifications.
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Proven experience in project management, consulting or similar role within the financial or information technology industry.
- Strong technical understanding and practical hands-on experience with modern IT infrastructure, ITSM tooling, cloud, and workplace technologies.
- Quick grasp, able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and drive multiple topics at a time.
- Entrepreneurial spirit combined with a positive “can-do” attitude and a desire for taking on responsibility.
- Problem-solving mind-set combined with strong conceptual and analytical skills.
- Hands-on approach with a strong focus on execution and getting things done.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
