Short Summary:
In this role, you will lead instrumentation software development for digital pathology solutions that directly transform patient diagnostics.
Responsibilities:
- Lead software development and integration efforts for complex digital pathology instrumentation and robotic systems.
- Design and maintain elegant, scalable code using C#, C/C++, .NET, and Linux for both backend logic and user interface layers.
- Develop and execute unit, subsystem, and integration testing to ensure high product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate within an Agile environment with solution architects, hardware engineers, and software leads to translate business requirements into robust technical reality.
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers, fostering technical growth and sharing best practices across multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Drive technical innovation by prototyping new software systems and leveraging shared architecture components across solutions.
Requirement:
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6 years of medical hardware device and/or diagnostics instrument experience.
- 6+ years of technical knowledge of C#, C/C++, Linux, .NET, Angular, and distributed systems or robotics.
- 3 years of firmware development (C/C++).
- Proven track record of taking software projects from idea to final release using solid system design principles.
- Familiarity with modern development methodologies, such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Scrum.
- Excellent at explaining technical concepts, mentoring team members, and working effectively with diverse stakeholders across engineering disciplines.
