Short Summary:
As a Bioinformatics Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement features for bioinformatics components and pipelines used in Roche Sequencing products, working in a fast-paced environment to ensure high software quality for gene sequencing research and disease diagnostics.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement features for bioinformatics components and pipelines.
- Collaborate with experimental teams to understand requirements and translate them into functional software.
- Contribute to a large code base, applying knowledge of advanced bioinformatics techniques and neural nets.
- Accelerate bioinformatics techniques using GPU hardware.

Requirement:
- B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with NGS data and data analysis pipelines.
- Strong expertise in Python and familiarity with C/C++.
- Experience developing or maintaining a large code base.
- Understanding of core bioinformatics techniques and neural nets.
- Proficiency in GCP, AWS, and Linux Shell environments.
- Excellent interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
