Short Summary:
As an Engagement Lead - Data Science, you will provide technical leadership across two sub-teams: the Predictive AI team and the Causal & Experimentation AI team. You will architect advanced enterprise AI solutions, mentor data science talent, and serve as a strategic consultant across global business lines including Commercial, R&D, Diagnostics, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and guide Senior Data Scientists and Data Scientists across Predictive AI and Causal & Experimentation AI sub-teams.
- Act as a trusted AI consultant to global business partners to translate complex business challenges into actionable Data Science and AI strategies.
- Champion GATE-wide initiatives by shaping center-level AI product development strategy.
- Rapidly design and build Proofs of Concept (POCs), prototypes, and business case studies.
- Architect and oversee the development of robust predictive models and causal inference frameworks.
- Drive the strategy and implementation of enterprise Generative AI architectures.
- Partner with MLOps and Data Engineering teams to design and maintain end-to-end ML/AI pipelines.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional stakeholders in an agile environment.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- 12+ years of overall experience in Data Science/AI, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare domain is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong experience in backend pipeline development tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
