Short Summary:
As the Disease Area Head, you will lead large-scale, multidisciplinary teams, influencing the company’s strategic, financial, and operational performance. You will provide global leadership for research & development, business partnering, and commercialization activities for molecules/products across the CVRM Disease Area.

Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale multidisciplinary teams with significant influence on the Disease Area’s overall ambition and performance.
- Shape the end-to-end Disease Area Strategies and plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Oversee a team of senior leaders coordinating global leadership for research & development, technical, manufacturing, and commercial activities.
- Co-lead the Disease Area Team to develop and implement long-term Roche strategy in assigned Disease Areas.
- Develop and manage the Disease Area budget to meet financial targets and optimize resource allocation.
- Engage with Therapeutic Area Experts, Patients’ Advisory Groups, and Healthcare industry leaders.

Requirement:
- Outstanding people leader with experience in leading large cross-functional organizations in drug research and development.
- Deep understanding of the CVRM Disease Area competitive landscape.
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, particularly in CVRM.
- Master's degree required; MD, PhD, or MBA preferred.
- Willingness to travel globally ~30%.
