Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL) $180,000 - $211,000 USD

Short Summary:

As a Staff Software Engineer on the DevX team, you will lead the strategy and execution of core developer infrastructure, ensuring systems are reliable and efficient for thousands of engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Architect the long-term technical strategy and roadmap for core developer infrastructure, including CI, SCM, and development environments.
- Build and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure capable of handling increasing operational loads.
- Lead the strategy for developer onboarding and remote development environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize build and CI patterns.
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers across the team.

Requirement:
- Extensive experience designing, scaling, and operating critical developer infrastructure or high-volume build and CI systems.
- Deep expertise in modern build systems such as Bazel and distributed or remote build execution.
- Strong programming proficiency in Go or Python.
- Proven ability to guide complex technical initiatives from conception to completion.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
