Short Summary:
Our client, a leading real estate services organisation, is building a shared, standardised data model to harmonise core business concepts across countries and systems. This role involves deep, hands-on modelling to define the conceptual and logical data model and design mapping patterns for local data systems.
Responsibilities:
- Define the conceptual and logical data model, including core domains, entities, attributes, and relationships.
- Separate shared enterprise semantics from country-, sector-, and business-line-specific extensions.
- Design local-to-central mapping principles, data standards, and controlled extension patterns.
- Establish ownership, quality, lineage, metadata, and model change-control approaches with the team.
- Translate the model into physical design principles and inputs for the data engineering backlog.
- Work with country and business-line stakeholders to validate the model and drive adoption.
Requirement:
- Strong hands-on data modelling and data architecture experience (conceptual, logical, and physical).
- Semantic modelling expertise — ontologies, knowledge graphs, Linked Data (e.g., RDF, SHACL) and related tooling.
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design and defining a semantic layer over multiple source systems.
- Grounding in data governance and data management practice (e.g., DAMA / CDMP-style frameworks).
- A structured, transparent communication style; comfortable bridging business goals and technical execution across distributed teams.
- EU work authorisation.
- Experience harmonising data models across multiple countries or business units is a plus.
- Real estate, financial services, or other asset/transaction-heavy domain exposure is a plus.
Benefits:
- Design the semantic backbone for a major European organisation, with senior autonomy and a lean expert team.
