Short Summary:
At Relevance AI, we’re building the home of the AI workforce, empowering teams to delegate meaningful work to AI agents. We are looking for a Staff AI Platform Engineer to own our developer experience and platform infrastructure, enabling our engineering team to build efficiently with AI agents.
Responsibilities:
- Own our developer experience and factory — the build, test, deploy, and local-dev loop.
- Build agent-safe environments — sandboxes, guardrails, and context for agents.
- Own reliability, end-to-end — SLOs, on-call health, observability, incident response, and prevention.
- Own our cloud infrastructure and cost — AWS, scalability, and spend visibility.
- Design and evolve platform capabilities across multiple teams.
- Remove systemic bottlenecks and share platform expertise with the wider engineering team.
Requirement:
- AI-Native Building: Experience in creating environments for coding agents.
- Product Thinking & Judgement: Ability to prioritize platform work based on customer outcomes.
- Platform and Infrastructure Depth: Experience in developer experience, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
- Reliability Ownership: Direct experience with SLOs and incident response.
- Cross-Team Leverage: Ability to educate and unblock teams beyond your own.
- Belief in our mission: Comfort with ambiguity and a belief in the potential of smaller AI-native teams.
