About the role
Redux.games is the studio behind My Perfect Hotel, a mobile game that has maintained top positions in global charts for over three years and attracted more than 300 million players. In 2025, the studio launched Lost Prison, an idle RPG. The company is looking for a Senior Game Designer who combines strong game design skills with a producer's mindset. The role involves taking ownership of features from initial ideas and hypotheses through implementation, testing, and performance analysis, with a focus on game economy, monetization, and progression systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and balance the game economy, including currencies, resources, and resource consumption loops. Develop monetization mechanics such as in-app purchases, offers, Battle Passes, and events.
- Analyze key product metrics, including ARPU, LTV, and conversion rates. Generate hypotheses, conduct A/B tests, and design progression systems with naturally integrated monetization opportunities.
- Prepare game design documentation, collaborate with the team, and playtest builds. Research the market and adjacent genres to identify new opportunities and ideas.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features, actively collect feedback, organize meetings, and track results independently.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in mobile game design, including at least 2 years focused on monetization.
- Experience across different game genres and genuine curiosity about games. Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret metrics and develop independent hypotheses.
- Ability to demonstrate real cases of improving ARPU, conversion rates, or LTV. A proactive approach to proposing ideas and taking ownership, with the ability to move quickly from hypothesis to testing within days rather than months.
- Experience with idle games, combat mechanics, direct character control, a combined Game Designer/Producer background, or collaboration with user acquisition teams is a plus.
Benefits
- Flexible schedule with no time tracking, focused on results. Remote work with flexibility for personal matters, provided the team is informed and availability is updated in Slack.
- Training compensation, online English lessons, and equipment provided when needed. 21 working days of vacation, 2 additional days off, 3 sick days, a two-week winter break, and additional time off around Easter.
