Data Configuration Specialist

Summary Statement 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Configuration Specialist to support the hands-on configuration, integration, validation, and maintenance of data within our menu technology stack. This execution-focused technical role is responsible for ensuring accurate menu setup, pricing, and system integrations across multiple ordering platforms in alignment with established business requirements and priorities. The role does not have responsibility for product strategy, technology roadmap ownership, people management, or departmental budget management. 

What you’ll do: 

• Supports the Red Robin restaurant and guest experience by configuring, optimizing, and maintaining assigned menu and restaurant technology products. 

• Works closely with the menu technology team to execute regular product configuration needs, which include, but are not limited to, menu configuration and builds, recipe builds and maintenance, user access, hierarchy and data structure maintenance, item routing, order timing, and ongoing product updates. 

• Maintains the configuration and data quality of assigned products throughout the normal course of business activities.  

• Ensures quality of product configuration changes through validation and testing. 

• Executes change control procedures and conducts relevant testing prior to changes reaching production environments. 

• Supports QA efforts by maintaining configuration and data quality in lab or sandbox environments 

• Executes a backlog of configuration requests across multiple stakeholder groups within committed timeframes. 

What we’re looking for: 

• 2+ years’ experience working with Aloha POS, Olo, Monkey Media, or similar restaurant systems required. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and strong attention to detail. 

• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, menus, and order workflows. 

• Proficiency with data entry, spreadsheets (excel), and system configuration. 

• Able to work independently, coordinate multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

• Experience in analytics and A/B testing platforms. 

• Excellent interpersonal, business communication and writing skills. 

• Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed (including some nights and weekends)
