Software Engineering Intern - Developer Hub Security team (Brno, Czech Republic)

Job summary:

The Red Hat Developer Hub team is looking for an Intern with experience with TypeScript, Yaml/Json and Docker to join us in Brno. You’ll work on the security team to improve the security posture for Developer Hub, develop new features and address existing defects and bugs.  You’ll also expand, automate, and streamline our vulnerabilities and dependency management using modern technologies. This long-term internship will give you the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about Red Hat’s business and the open source culture.

At Red Hat, you’ll work in an environment that welcomes diverse perspectives, values great ideas, and empowers individuals to contribute meaningfully. Freedom and courage are two of our core values — which means you’ll have the space to take risks, explore the unknown, and grow your strengths. But being a Red Hatter is not just about bravery; it’s also about commitment and follow-through.

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English
• Experience with TypeScript, Yaml/Json, Docker
• Experience with Shell scripting, Golang is a plus
• Experience with Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) infrastructure
• A passion for open source technologies

Due to the limited number of internship opportunities and the high volume of applications, we may not be able to speak with every candidate. Please apply for a maximum of three internship roles that best match your interests and skills.
