Junior Associate Deal Management Analyst
The Associate Deal Management Analyst exercises judgment when following detailed instructions and standardized procedures to complete assigned deal analysis and deal management tasks and meet deadlines, and is responsible for following routine procedures to complete standard assignments and resolve issues of minimal complexity. This role supports the deal development lifecycle by assisting with the collection, organization, validation, and preparation of deal data, documentation, and deal components, ensuring that required inputs and documentation are prepared accurately and collected in accordance with established submission standards and corporate policies. The Associate Deal Lifecycle Analyst works closely with senior team members to develop foundational knowledge of deal management frameworks, data systems, and the cross-functional coordination practices required to deliver complete and accurate deal packages.
This role assists with scheduling and participating in deal development meetings and supports cross-functional coordination with stakeholders such as Sales, Services, Operations, Legal, and Finance to help produce complete deal packages. The Associate Deal Lifecycle Analyst begins building awareness of corporate policies, programs, and systems to support deal construction practices under the guidance of senior team members.
This role maintains communication with internal stakeholders as directed to support information flow and understanding throughout the deal solutioning lifecycle.
NOTE: This position has global scope with primary responsibility for EMEA and Americas
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the collection, organization, and validation of deal data and documentation, ensuring inputs are prepared accurately and in accordance with established submission standards and corporate policies
- Support the deal development lifecycle by helping prepare deal components and documentation under the direction of senior team members
- Follow standardized procedures and detailed instructions to complete routine deal analysis and deal management tasks within established timelines
- Help maintain accurate records within deal management systems, ensuring data integrity and completeness throughout the deal lifecycle
- Support cross-functional coordination by assisting with scheduling and logistics for deal-related stakeholder meetings and communications
- Work with AI tools such as AI Assistants to support administrative tasks and begin developing proficiency with AI-enabled workflows and automation tools
- Develop foundational knowledge of deal management frameworks, corporate policies, approval processes, and the cross-functional coordination practices required to deliver complete deal packages
- Assist with DocuSign document routing and tracking for required signatures
- Participate in deal development meetings to observe, take notes, and support follow-up action items as assigned
- Escalate issues, discrepancies, or exceptions to senior team members in a timely manner
What You Will Bring (Requirements):
- Minimum of zero to two (0-2) years of related experience in a business, operational, or administrative support roles
- Bachelor's degree in business, technical, financial, operational or related field
- Foundational knowledge of business operations such as sales processes, order processing, contracts, or deal management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, follow detailed instructions, and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders at various levels
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy in documentation and reporting tasks
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, taking direction from senior team members while demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with the Open Source Software industry, Cloud/SaaS market concepts, or willingness to develop this knowledge
- Fluent language skills in English
- Experience with or willingness to learn Salesforce, Google Suite, and AI tools such as Gemini/ChatGPT
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
