Title: North America Sales Manager Location: Remote: Anywhwere in the US North America Sales Manager Fully Remote - Anywhere in the United States $130K–$160K Base + 20% Bonus Excellent Benefits Package North America travel as required Overview Our client, an established global technology company providing advanced solutions for public safety and intelligent transportation, is seeking a North America Sales Manager to drive growth across the U. S. and broader North American market. This is a senior-level individual contributor role combining new business development and strategic account management. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new public-sector opportunities while growing and managing key customer and partner relationships throughout the region. The ideal candidate has a strong track record selling technology, infrastructure, or related solutions into government agencies, municipalities, transportation authorities, or other public-sector organizations. Experience with traffic safety, automated traffic enforcement, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), or public safety technology is highly preferred. Required Proven B2B/B2G sales experience selling into the public sector Demonstrated success in both new business development and account management Experience selling complex technology, infrastructure, or integrated solutions Strong understanding of government/public-sector procurement and sales processes Proven ability to manage long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders Experience developing relationships with government agencies, municipalities, transportation authorities, or similar organizations Strong track record of developing new territories, accounts, or revenue opportunities Experience negotiating and closing high-value contracts Ability to develop and maintain senior-level customer relationships Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills Ability to operate independently in a fully remote individual contributor role Willingness to travel throughout North America as needed Nice-to-Haves Experience with traffic safety or road safety technology Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) experience Automated traffic enforcement technology experience Public safety technology background Experience working with system integrators, distributors, resellers, or strategic partners Existing relationships within transportation agencies, municipalities, law enforcement, or related public-sector organizations Responsibilities Drive new business development across the U. S. and North American market Manage and grow existing strategic customer accounts Identify, develop, and close new public-sector opportunities Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and relationship development through contract award Build relationships with municipalities, government agencies, transportation authorities, and other public-sector customers Develop account and territory strategies to increase market penetration and revenue Manage complex sales involving procurement, technical stakeholders, senior decision-makers, and multiple influencers Develop and maintain relationships with channel partners, integrators, distributors, and strategic partners Lead pricing, commercial negotiations, proposals, and contract discussions Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities Maintain an accurate pipeline, forecasts, and sales activity reporting Collaborate with international sales, technical, product, and leadership teams Represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events
