Shopify Front-End Developer

We’re looking for a Shopify Front-End Developer to architect and build the high-performance, conversion-focused digital storefronts for our portfolio of global brands.
1/ E-commerce Architecture & Development

• Translate Figma prototypes into pixel-perfect, highly responsive, and interactive Shopify themes, taking full ownership of the front-end build.
• Act as the design-minded developer, proactively enhancing static designs with thoughtful micro-interactions, animations, and UI improvements that elevate the user experience.
• Architect and build a library of reusable, maintainable, and high-quality Liquid sections and front-end components.
• Extend core Shopify functionality through custom scripts or by integrating third-party apps to meet specific marketing and operational goals.

2/ Performance & User Experience Optimization

• Drive business results by making critical front-end decisions that directly impact Core Web Vitals, user engagement, and conversion rates.
• Rigorously test and optimize storefronts for speed and cross-browser compatibility, ensuring flawless performance across all devices with a mobile-first approach.
• Collaborate intensely with UI/UX designers and marketing squads to ensure every customer touchpoint is meticulously crafted and serves a clear business purpose.

• Shopify Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Shopify Liquid, custom theme architecture, and the Theme Kit/CLI. You’ve built complex, custom themes from the ground up, not just modified existing ones.
• Frontend Mastery: Mastery of modern, vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS/Sass. You prioritize clean, semantic, and maintainable code.
• Performance & UX Focus: Demonstrable experience in frontend performance optimization with a deep, practical understanding of Core Web Vitals and how to improve them. You obsess over page-load speed.
• Portfolio & Communication: A strong portfolio of live Shopify sites that showcases your exceptional attention to detail, UI polish, and front-end craftsmanship. Professional fluency in English is mandatory.
• Plus: Experience with the Shopify API ecosystem (REST & GraphQL) and building custom Shopify apps (e.g., with Node.js) is a major advantage. Fluency in French, Spanish, German, Italian, or Portuguese is a strong plus.

Our compensation philosophy is a direct reflection of our meritocratic culture. Your contribution won't just be noticed, it will be valued and rewarded.

• Competitive salary based on experience paired with fast-growth path and performance-linked bonuses
• 35 days of holidays of your choosing including annual leave and public holidays
• Work from home (WFH) allowance, to cover WFH costs.
• Other benefits and allowances such as Gym and Education.
• Ambitious and projects in growing markets.
• Remote working from Cyprus (need to be a Cypriot resident).
• Flexible working hours
• Relocation package and assistance

• Pragmatic Problem-Solver: You are driven by results, not by ego. You focus on effective execution, using the right tool for the job to solve the problem at hand.
• Accountable: You think like an intrapreneur. You seek responsibility and you are driven by outcomes.
• Resilient: You are not looking to simply join or maintain; you are here to build. You understand that speed, intensity, and high standards are the ingredients for extraordinary success.
• Ambitious Learner: You have a deep intellectual curiosity and challenge yourself and others to raise the bar. You believe feedback is a gift and are relentless in your pursuit of mastery.
• High-Trust Collaborator: You earn trust quickly through transparency and reliability. You bring clarity and focus to every interaction, enabling your squad to move faster and make better decisions.

We respect your time and ours, so our interviews are streamlined to deliver clear feedback and decisive next steps, typically within a week.

• Introductory Call (30-45 minutes): A conversation to align on the role, your ambitions, and mutual fit.
• Deep Dive Interview (60 minutes): A detailed discussion about your past experiences, projects, and accomplishments with the hiring manager.
• Case Study / Portfolio Review (60-90 minutes): A practical, hands-on session where you'll walk us through your work or solve a relevant problem.
• Founder & Culture Chat (45 minutes): A final conversation to ensure alignment on vision, values, and long-term goals.

Offer: A final conversation to discuss the offer.
