POSITION SUMMARY:
- Provide advanced IT support for clinical and administrative users, ensuring high availability of radiology systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and clinical application issues across devices and peripherals.
- Triage and manage escalated or high-priority incidents, collaborating with cross-functional IT teams as needed.
- Support operations during planned and unplanned downtime, following established downtime procedures.
- Document and manage incidents in ServiceNow, communicate updates and resolutions clearly, and contribute to ongoing process improvements and knowledge documentation.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred - or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, including hardware and network support preferred.
- Experience supporting voice dictation systems such as PowerScribe or Fluency.
- Knowledge of HIS/RIS, PACS, Voice Recognition systems, DICOM functionality, and radiology workflow.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
