Software Team Lead
RADCOM is looking for an experienced Software Team Lead to lead a team developing high-performance, mission-critical software for next-generation cellular networks.
In this role, you will combine technical leadership, people leadership, and hands-on development, driving the design and delivery of scalable solutions used by leading mobile operators worldwide. You will play a key role in shaping the architecture of RADCOM's next-generation monitoring and analytics platform while mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and innovation.
Working closely with architects, product managers, and cross-functional R&D teams, you will influence technical direction and lead the development of complex systems across 4G/5G, Radio, and Core Network technologies.
• 4+ years of software development experience, including strong hands-on experience in modern C++.
• Proven experience leading software engineers, technical projects, or development teams.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization.
• Experience developing high-performance, low-latency, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong experience working in Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives from concept to production.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

• Experience serving in a technological military unit.
• Experience with cellular networks and telecom technologies, including 4G/LTE, 5G, Core, or Radio networks.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and network architecture.
• Experience working with high-throughput, low-latency, or real-time systems.
• Experience building distributed systems or network infrastructure products.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, microservices, and containerized environments.
• Experience with performance profiling, optimization, and large-scale production systems.
• Background in cybersecurity, network intelligence, or monitoring and analytics platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, supporting their professional growth and technical excellence.
• Drive architectural and technical design decisions for high-scale, performance-critical systems.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects, from design and implementation through deployment and continuous improvement.
• Remain deeply involved in hands-on development, debugging, performance optimization, and solving complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Architects, and R&D teams to define technical roadmaps and deliver impactful solutions.
• Build highly scalable, reliable, and efficient software infrastructure supporting next-generation cellular networks.
• Promote engineering best practices, code quality, design reviews, and technical innovation across the team.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment between multiple stakeholders and engineering teams.
