Senior Sales Executive

Rackspace Technology™ is a leading end-to-end hybrid cloud and AI solutions company. We design, build, and operate our customers' cloud and AI environments across all major technology platforms, regardless of technology stack or deployment model. By partnering with customers throughout every stage of their cloud and AI journey, we enable application modernisation, AI adoption, innovation, and business transformation. Recognised by Glassdoor, Newsweek and Forbes as one of the best places to work, we attract and develop world-class talent committed to delivering our Fanatical Experience™ and helping customers stay ahead of what's next.

The Senior Sales Executive specializes in identifying, developing, and closing opportunities with new and existing customers that drive profitable growth and deliver outstanding customer outcomes. The role is responsible for the full sales cycle, from acquiring new customers to expanding strategic relationships and increasing share of wallet within existing accounts.

The successful candidate will build and own executive-level customer relationships, collaborating closely with technical, delivery, and business stakeholders to develop solutions that address complex business challenges. You will leverage industry knowledge, executive presence, and strong commercial acumen to differentiate Rackspace's cloud, AI, data, security, and managed services capabilities, execute strategic pursuit plans, and close complex enterprise sales opportunities.

This is a highly consultative, hunter-oriented role requiring the ability to proactively create opportunities, develop pipeline, and engage senior decision-makers within enterprise organisations.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to generate net-new business, build a sustainable pipeline, consistently exceed revenue targets, and establish Rackspace as a strategic partner within key enterprise accounts.

Must be fluent in Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation, close, and ongoing account growth.
• Build and execute account plans, including pursuit strategies, timelines, deliverables, and revenue objectives for assigned accounts.
• Develop and maintain a territory and portfolio strategy that prioritizes high-value opportunities.
• Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and partner engagement.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to execute targeted campaigns and sales plays.
• Lead the sales process across the Rackspace solutions portfolio.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and executive decision-makers within target accounts.
• Qualify customer opportunities, identify business drivers, and align Rackspace solutions to customer objectives.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, priorities, and transformation goals.
• Partner with Sales Engineers and technical specialists to assess customer environments and define solution strategies.
• Develop compelling proposals, business cases, and value propositions that clearly demonstrate business impact and ROI.
• Lead negotiations, contract discussions, renewals, and commercial reviews.
• Drive strategic pursuits aligned to territorial objectives and overall company growth strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Support, Customer Success, and Partner teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Proactively identify and resolve obstacles impacting sales opportunities and customer success.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline capable of consistently achieving and exceeding quota.
• Represent Rackspace at executive meetings, industry events, partner engagements, and customer workshops.

Experience We're Looking For

• Significant quota-carrying enterprise sales experience within technology, cloud, managed services, AI, data, or digital transformation.
• Proven track record of generating net-new pipeline and winning new enterprise customers.
• Proven experience selling cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or digital transformation solutions.
• Credibility engaging C-level executives and senior business stakeholders.
• Evidence of personally creating opportunities rather than relying primarily on inbound demand.
• Strong ability to connect technology investments to tangible business, financial, and operational outcomes.
• Experience managing complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong executive presence, commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated success selling high-value, multi-year managed services or transformation engagements.
• Experience working within multinational, matrixed organisations and coordinating resources across multiple functions.
• Self-starter mentality with a strong bias for action, resilience, and a proven hunting mindset.
